Everett DuPen (deceased)

Everett had a terrific influence as a teacher of sculptors Tony Angell, Phillip Levine, Ray Jensen, Philip McCracken, Tom Jay, Georgia Gerber, and Paul Buckner. He created many commissions locally, most notably the “DuPen Fountain” at the Seattle Center, which was installed in 1962 for the World’s Fair. He was himself also a prolific sculptor, but he was not ambitious in his participation with commercial gallery shows so his work has not been widely displayed.
