Frank Morbillo

Frank was born in Queens, raised on Long Island, and then headed west to Montana before Santa Fe. Morbillo’s work is influenced by both the landscape and the forces that shape our natural environment. He works with images of primitive tools, which shape that same environment. He often uses the natural limits of his materials as an expressive element, such as pulling the molten metal like toffee as it cools to expresses thoughts about the elemental forces tugging at us all.
